AIICIOO Reptile Heating Pad 8″x12″, 16 watts is an ideal 24-hour primary or secondary heat source for tropical or temperate reptile species. It contains a high level of niche heating wire and a large PVC insulation material that can provide soft, durable heat for reptiles and amphibians. The AIICIOO tank heater attaches permanently to your terrarium or hatchery, forming a solid bond for optimal heat transfer.

Updated adhesive – All of the heating pads are updated, we have changed the adhesive material to a new one that is more solid. The heat resistance of the material is 90 ℉ to 100 ℉. This effectively decreases and eradicates the likelihood of melting and splitting.

How does AIICIOO Reptile Heating Pad work?

The under-tank heater is designed to slowly heat the glass and then the air inside the terrarium. The heater will take a minimum of six hours before an accurate reading of the temperature in the terrarium is obtained. If your pets spend all their time near the heater, it means that there is not enough heat in the cage. Supplementary heat should be added immediately.

Instructions:

Clean the surface of the terrarium
Remove the adhesive paper from the back of the heater
Stick the heater to the bottom/side of the tank
Press hard until it sticks to the tank firmly
Stick the rubber feet to the four lower corners

Note: Do NOT remove the heater once it has been connected to your terrarium.
